New Year's Gym Resolutions
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The New Year is always a good time to motivate yourself to start fresh and try to improve yourself. You have probably made New Year's resolutions before, but this year why not try to make a few "gym" resolutions?
Don't know where to start? Well, here are a few ideas to get you going.
I Resolve:
To be thankful for my parents who drive me to the practices and meets and are always sacrificing their time for me.
To always practice with good form.
To always listen to my coaches.
To always be friendly and courteous to my teammates.
To try hard during my conditioning exercises so that I will get stronger and avoid injuries.
To try to improve my flexibility a little each day.
To encourage my teammates in good times as well as bad times.
To be happy with my meet results, but always try to do a little better.
To be happy for my teammates, even if they beat me.
To not blame the judges for a low score and try to be better the next time.
To be confident in practice and meets.
To be patient when trying to learn new tricks.
To keep working on my basics, because they will help me improve faster.
And, your parents will love these:
To eat my vegetables, because they will give me the strength and nutrition I need to perform at my best.
